The Southern Ocean Birding Group is a non-profit organization with 501-(c)(3) status. Our dues are used to recruit some of the best programs and speakers on birds in New Jersey, along with programs on environmental issues that concern us in Ocean County. We also use dues to fund our scholarship to Ocean County high school seniors, which over the past four years has totaled $4000. We are happy to accept tax-deductible donations in addition to membership dues, which will help to support our environmental and education efforts. We gratefully acknowledge generous anonymous donations that have been made to SOBG in the past.

If you wish to become a member, we have three levels of membership which all run on a Jan.1 to Dec. 31 cycle:

Annual Dues:

• Single:  $25
• Couple: $40
• Student: FREE

Students are considered those attending high school or college full-time.
