June Meeting: Butterflying for Birders
Many birders eventually expand their interest in the natural world to other living things: mushrooms, botany, herps, dragonflies, and more. For our June meeting, Greg Prelich will present a program covering the butterflies of NJ, including their life cycle, seasonality, and the families of butterflies, with loads of photos, focusing on the similarities and differences between birding and butterflying.
The meeting will be held at the Barnegat Branch of the Ocean County Library, 112 Burr St., Barnegat, NJ, starting at 7PM, with doors open at 6:30 for mingling.
