The Southern Ocean Birding Group’s next field trip will be September 10 to Cedar Bonnet Island, a unit of the Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, off the Rt. 72 Causeway heading to Long Beach Island.  We will meet at the parking lot at 8 a.m. and explore the island for migrating birds, especially those pesky confusing fall warblers.  If we finish early, we can extend the trip to Barnegat Lighthouse State Park to search for more birds.
